Lucebert

Lucebert (1924-1994) Lucebert (luce = light, bert = bright) was the pseudonym of Lubertus Jacobus Swaanswijk. This poet - also active as a visual artist - was born in 1924 in Amsterdam. In the 1950s, he acted as the foreman of the Beweging van Vijftig, the group of experimental poets that caused a stir at the time.
