Musch, Leo

Leonard Evert Musch (1943-2013) was a graphic artist, painter and draughtsman. From the end of the sixties he exhibited at Galerie Mokum in Amsterdam and at various galleries in the country. Later he gave painting lessons in Amsterdam and Utrecht (Artibus) and wrote several books about painting techniques including the book "Grensverleggend schilderen". In 1981 he left for the South of France where he gave painting courses in the Beauregard center. He also traveled the world to give painting workshops. He passed away in 2013 in Beauregard. One of the innovations Leo came up with was the double-sided painting of transparent plastic film which he illuminated for a three-dimensional effect.
