Hand-Signed in pencil by the artist.
Harry van Kruiningen (1906-1996) was a versatile and committed visual artist who loved to experiment. He was a painter, graphic artist, draftsman, author and illustrator of seven children's books, filmmaker and monumental artist. He printed silk and cotton fabrics with lithographs and sold them as shawls and curtain fabrics. He manufactured plates of ceramics and mosaic sculptures. He gained the most fame, however, with his etchings.
