Iris de Leeuw (1944-) receives her art training as a sculptor at the Akademie voor Beeldende Kunst en Kunstnijverheid in Arnhem.
After an inspiring Provo period, she starts her career in 1967 by making screenprint posters in Nijmegen and Utrecht for protest movements. She does this until 1975 . This work appears in collections all over the world.
After 1976, besides screen printing, she developed her free art in different techniques for various applications and environments.
Iris de Leeuw's work is authentic, contemporary and innovative.
