Hans Innemee was born in 1951 in Heerlen, Netherlands. He studied graphic arts at the Tilburg Academy and became a visual artist, sculptor, illustrator and musician. He is part of a music band therefore plays during the night and teaches drawing in several schools during the day. The aim of the artist is to pass on a positive message: if nothing special happens to us, it's already a miracle-nobody asked us if we wanted to be here, so why not give it our best shot. Hans Innemee uses farm as his theme, especially the hen, inspired by Tommy Cooper, an English comedian, he portrays this with human features. Treated with humor, his illustrations allow us to put things in perspective about the existence of human beings. His technique is about drawing the animal with a pencil on thin paper, cutting it and then pasting this illustration on a panel. The panels are colored through crayons. His work is exhibited in Netherlands but also around the world with exhibitions in Barcelona, Paris, Tokyo, Osaka, Heidelberg and many more. Mounted on cardboard, its dimensions are as follows: 18 cm by 16 cm. The screenprint is in very good condition, however, the paper to which the work is attached has some paper damage as a result of a removed Passe-partout. With a new Passe-Partout, nothing more can be seen of it.
