Heinz HOFFMANN (Wittenberg 1918)
After his school years, Heinz Hoffmann completed a degree in interior design and then worked in an architectural office. Already during his studies he discovered his talent and great love for watercolor painting. He took several semesters of graphic courses at the Folkwangschule in Essen. Afterwards he continued to work as an interior designer as well as advertising manager in the industry.
After his professional activity, he devoted himself intensively to watercolor painting and organized numerous solo and group exhibitions. His professional background is visible in his watercolors. The demanding technique of watercolor painting and its mastery represented an exciting and thrilling challenge for him.
His excellent works have found many enthusiasts and he is represented in the prestigious art galleries of Europe.

The screenprint is in very good condition, however, the paper to which the work is attached has some paper damage as a result of a removed Passe-partout.
With a new Passe-Partout, nothing more can be seen of it.
