Per Gernhardt is a post-war artist. Per Gernhardt is a male artist born in Poznan in 1941. Per Gernhardt's first recorded exhibition was Poesie in der Landschaft at Galerie Gabriele von Loeper in Hamburg in 1974 and the last exhibition LebensKünstler at NCL Stiftung in Hamburg in 2017. Per Gernhardt is exhibited exclusively in Germany. Gernhardt has had at least two solo exhibitions and 10 group exhibitions in the last 43 years (see biography for more information). Gernhardt has also been to no less than one art fair, but no biennial. A notable show was 10 Years of Artothek. Important new acquisitions in recent years were shown at the NBK - Neuer Berliner Kunstverein in Berlin in 1980. Other notable exhibitions were held at the Kunstverein Hannover in Hanover and the Städtische Galerie Nordhorn in Nordhorn. Per Gernhardt was exhibited with Peter Berndt and Piero Dorazio.
