Hand signature by the Artist. Comes with COA. Master painter Lony Wing was an extremely talented Balinese artist who has grabbed the world’s attention with his striking colourful works. He was born in East-Java in 1976 and attended the art academy in Bandung West-Java where he pursued a long, traditional art programme. He learned to master every aspect of painting. Seeking to develop futher he moved to Bali in 1996 to be inspired by the rich artistic life of the island in Bali he was enchanted by consensism, a style characterised by harmony, balance and concordance of colour and light. Lony Wing charted his own course within this movement, resulting in realistic cubist paintings that use beautiful, harmonious ranges of colours. Experts say that Lony Wing was the most comprehensive painter of this style who continued to discover fresh insights. Lony Wing favourite subjects were cityscapes and landscapes. He was often in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe soaking up inspiration for his work. His paintings have been sold in more than 28 countries and are well represented in national and international art collections. Lony Wing died in 2017 after a motorcycle accident.
